Default AOE 3 Help
I downloaded version 1.0 of the No Cd/Fixed file and placed it into my game directory overtop of the previous aoe3.exe file. It'll let me get as far as choosing to play a Skirmish on the main menu, then the game just crashes and does the whole 'AOE3 cannot continue, would you like to send an error report' thing. Any reasons why it is crashing like this?

Is your game version v1.0? It maybe an updated version, you would need to use the same version No-CD as your game.

I can't figure out how to find the game version now that I have already replaced it with the no-cd fix. Though, I right-clicked on the no-cd fix file and it said version 4.1??

We are talking strictly AOE3? Or you've installed the expansions too?
