Age of Mythology The Titans No CD Help

I need help with Age of Mythology The Titans Gold Edition. In a mad rage my girlfriend broke the The Titans CD that comes with the Gold Edition. So, now I can only play the first Age of Mythology and not the Expansion. I've bought this game twice already and don't want to buy another. I downloaded the "No-CD" file version 1.03 from Gameburnworld and it works fine until I try to play online. When I try to get online the game tells me I need to update my game to play online. I know my game it up to date {version 1.03}, even when I try to update it's says I am up-to-date. I am new to this, so I am wondering if I am missing something. Help please.

Are you sure you updated the game to v1.03 with the official patch update BEFORE you applied the v1.03 No-CD fix?

Yes, the game was up-to-date before I applied the "No_CD fix."
