Default SOLVED: Cannot create renderer - Still Life

Hi,

When I start the game "Still Life" a message box pops up telling that "Cannot create renderer"

I have found many people suffering from this problem (original software and downloaded) but no fix.

The offical site seems to be down so nothing to find there...

VGA card: Assus A9550GE, PIV 2Ghz, 1024 Mb, 160 Gb free space. Those specs are enough for an adventure game I think.

Please, if someone knows the sollution...

I have read some was able to fix it by installing an extra driver, othes say something about Texture settings in the VGA-drivers (which I don't see)

Thank you so much for helping me out !

Kind regards,

ShAdOwHuNtEr

Great, found the solution !

For all the people suffering the same problem...

1. Instal the game by loading the image into Deamon Tools
2. Unmount image
3. Uninstall the game
4. It will install again (beats me) and choose the same folder again
4. Then it will ask for Disk 1
5. Load disk 1 in Deamon Tools
6. Continue the installation
7. Done

It's not really an explenation but it did the trick for me... try and error

Kind regards,

ShAdOwHuNtEr
