Warcraft 3 CD program???

I've seen some co-workers as of recently been playing warcraft without loading the software onto the pc. They say that they have some type of program or whatnot. They are being a pain though and won't tell me what type of program it is.

Im unfamilair with most of the terms, and the only one out of the programs that ive seen that i know, because right now i use it with my copy of warcraft III reign of chaos, is the No-CD Crack.

How are you able to play warcraft through the disk alone???

try searching the forums there's loads of stuff on this topic i think you need the warcraft no-cd loader or something

You won't be able to play directly off the CD as the game is in it's setup/install form and has not been installed, It is possible however that they installed the game onto a harddrive, used a No-CD patch, and then burnt the entire installed game to a CD/DVD and therefore play from the CD/DVD, htis would probably be a slow process though, depending on the CD/DVD drive speed.
