Default Civ IV Image?

Am trying to create a image file to run Civ IV. Can anyone tell me the name that the image file should be? (ie: the CD's name) since I putzed and deleted the ISO file after installing...

What protection does the game use, SafeDisc or SecuRom?

Default protection

I believe it uses SafeDisc 4.60.000.

I found that on another site about the Italian version though. I'm also looking for information on how to run a backup of this game, and I'm very new to all of this.

Thanks

Your best chance is to wait for the new Daemon Tools to come out, will handle the new SafeDisc/StarForce/SecuRom nicely.

Here goes Duffy:

1. Make a full-image of your original CD (or take the risk to make a mini one)
2. Get Safedisk 4 Hider from here (http://www.cdmediaworld.com/cgi-bin/dl.cgi?f=sd4hide-skl!zip). Duffy, if we don't have this, please upload it to the tools.
3. Mount the image.
4. Run the Hider and click on Hide, then close the Hider.
5. Run the game!
