how to play the sims 2 H&M

I installed it from a friend, added the crack in to the TSBin folder, pressed the icon on the desk top, it said i needed seasons, which I already had I clicked on seaons and was told I had the wrong disc. I re-downloaded the seasons crack and now all I get is a black screen.
I even brought H&M and reinstalled it, same result. Seasons works when H&M's uninstalled.
whats wrong here guys?
I read many people are haing this problem.

Buy the game and read the rules........
