About GTA: San Andreas

Yeah I know its a slightly old game but I only recently played GTA: SA and I think I encountered a bug. You see im stuck in Los Santos coz that damn OG Loc Mission: Lifes a Beach, the dance thingy quest based on faq's wont trigger the dance part of the quest. Everytime the DJ asks me yes or no nothing happens. Is it just me or did it happen to anyone else? All I want to know is, is this an isolated case, does *gulp* restarting a whole new game fix this? Or am I stuck forever in Los Santos. Are there any quest specific trainers out there because I got so pissed off I went nuts and finished every single quest, unlockables and trained every stat to max as "Los Santos" possible. i had the same problem you have to go through all of the key configuration to get everything set up wich is a pain but thats the way it goes i set mine to my keypad 4 and 6.
