mm, sounds like maybe something with your video drivers/card doesnt like the video changes.
You can reset them back to default Check in the System Registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\EGOSOFT\X3 You should find settings there Change VideoMode key to 16 (Hexidecimal) or 22 (Decimal) Close the registry, then try and run it again. |

could be problem with the image you made. What speed where you using when making the image? Also, if you are using DT4, do NOT enable any emulation options.. The New DT does this automatically "invisibly" so only the image needs to be mounted.

yeah that most definately is a flaw in the image, SF3 does not always check the same "location" on the CD (image), it can randomly check beginning, middle, end, so I am guessing one of the portions of the image you made didnt get all the protection info. you may wanna try making another image with a different speed setting. (such as 8x instead of 4x, ect..) or whatever speed you used.
But keep the current image in case your unable to get a flawless working image made so you can at least still play. |

yeah, but you may need to slow the speed down, max is not always best. With my own drives (Lite-On) I have found around 8x is best for me, so you may need to play around with the speed on yours.
