LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth Game trouble

I have downloaded the game, it has installed properly and I have the newest patch and video drivers an the game starts alright but when I go to start a campaign of some sort it goes to the map sceen and says click any button to continue then it freezes and doesnt display properly. Any ideas?
