Star Wars: Empire at War Quits

Hello everyone,
I installed Empire at War and I wanted to run it without the CD so I downloaded the no CD crack from Gamefile. Now it doesn't ask for the CD but when it gets to the loading screen with the trademarks on it the game quits and the screen goes to the desktop. What did I do rong? I've got the no CD crack in.

Help would be well... helpful,

i have had problems like that with other games the way i fixed that problem was by choosing the full installation.good luck

Sounds exactly like the same problem I'm currently having. No clue how to fix it, it's bugging the heck out of me. The second I launch the game and then click "start game" it loads, then crashes.

you guys are prolly talking about the No-cd Loader right? READ the Readme thats provided with it it says you ALSO need a NO-CD exe for the Main executable (sweaw.exe)
