titan quest issues...
this game is awesome, similar to diablo2, but so poorly optimized. i just wondered if theres anything to do to make it run smoother with some tweaks like lowering pixel shader to 1.1 or 1.4 from 2.0..., editing an ini file. i heard something about extracting the arc files too, but when i tried it with arcexplorer1.0, it displayed an error message with some files, and it wouldn't go further that the title screen... any help would be appreciated, thanks...

Force Triple Buffering on for Titan Quest.
Go to the \My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest\Settings\ Open: options.txt Find: TripleBuffer Change to: TripleBuffer=true (default is false (or off) If TripleBuffer does not exist, add it You can also force TripleBufer on for the game in the nVidia Control Panel Profiles section, create/edit the profile for Titan Quest and enable Triple Bufering for it. (But still edit the options.txt file as mentioned above) |
