c and c tiberium wars no cd crack not working

hey there peoples..



ive just bought the new command and conquer tiberium wars yesterday and have installed the new V1.05 update and i wanted to put the no cd crack on because i hate having to change cd's every time i want to play a different game. but i cant seem to get it to work.... the game works fine but i just cant get the no cd part to work



ive downloaded both update and the crack but just does not seem to work. is there anything in particular i need to do or do i just copy and paste the extracted files in to the program directory.... also after it didnt work for a bit i directed to "open with" the first .exe that you are meant to open c and c with so maybe it just needs to be re-directed to a different file or something



any help would be greatly appreciated.

The .dat file in the RAR achive needs to be extracted to the games directory/folder (where you installed the game).
