Sims 2 original .exe file...

I posted this in the Game Backup Instructions forum, but I think I made a mistake and it is supposed to be posted here. Sorry about that admin/mods.

I installed my game last week, and forgot my cds in my house (I'm on vacation in a different city). With out knowing there isn't a working fix for the game, copy and pasted a fix over my original application file(sims2.exe).

I then found out the fix doesn't work correctly, and learned of using images. The only problem now, is I'm stuck with the no-cd fix instead of the original file.

Can someone please send me the original file? Via yousendit or something? Or is this not allowed here? Please help.

Anyways, is this even possible? I just now saw the first post in this thread, and found it very helpful. But I don't have my cd4 with me to replace the .exe with the original.

Sorry, but we only provide support given that you have your original CDs available. You're not allowed to request files.

okay thanks, I wasn't sure about this since it's not the whole game etc im asking for.

I didn't bring them with me so they wouldnt get scratched etc....

guess I'll have to wait till I'm back home. dang.
