Black and white 2 patch v 1.1 install problem.. no cd compatibility??

When i try to install the 1.1 patch, it says the installation of the program has been damaged...
Is it because I installed the no-cd exe before running the patch? If it is so then do I have to reinstall everything losing my saves? ._.
If this is the case, is there some way I can backup my saves?? Or someone to send, link or whatever an original white.exe? >_<

I think the uninstall asks if you want to keep your savegames.
Yes, it might be because you use a crack. Some patches are also verifying the file integrity.
I always make a backup of the original exe. When I want to install a new patch, I don't have to reinstall the game. After I patch the game, I make a backup for the new exe(the patched one), replacing the original version. I repeat this operation every time when I apply a patch.
