I would also greatly appreciate it if anyone reading either knows of a no-cd patch (for the patched version of the game) or could contact someone with the ability to make one.

Sorry only the v1.0 No-CD patch is currently available.

Actually that's just the thing, the 1.2 patch makes the game considerably better (fixes some irritating bugs and makes it much better to play, but of course doesn't quite solve everything), however of course it negates the possibility of the NO-CD benefit of the previous version.

I can play it with the CD in the drive obviously, but I prefer to have several games at the ready and to me disc swapping, while a minor nuisance, is still a nuisance just then same.

I've tried some ammature investigation on my own into comparing the normal file, the NO-CD file, and the patched file to see what I can learn from that but the tools at my disposal are primitive (see also: Crashtastic), and seem to be ineffective in finding what I am looking for within the file.

If anybody knows anyone that is capable of, or better still responsible for, making the original NO-CD fix for the 1.0 version I'm certain all PSA players that like to go 'disc free' would be grateful if they could perhaps take a look at the 1.2 version of the game and work some magic again.

As I've stated in various posts: this site it's not linked in any way with the cracking teams. All the cracks here are submitted by playes who obtained those on various chnannels. They are intended for people who are having the original discs, legally bought. If a crack comes out, it will be submitted. Otherwise, you can ask everyday, until you get a nice spam status but you still won't get that crack.
No crack is available now as many people already told. Arm yourself with patience and hope for the best. As soon a crack comes out, it will be submitted. Until then, despite the fact of being a minor nuisance, use the original CD.
