help please

i am trying to use a no cd patch for nba live 07, when i put the patch over instead of it saying this file already exist it just puts it there as a shortcut and will not work. what do i need to do? please help!!

Right click the file your trying to put there, choose "cut" then goto the game folder and right click and choose paste... Then choose yes to overwrite the file. (Your probably dragging and dropping and it thinks since the file is already there your wanting a shortcut)
