nocd for warhammer winter question
i am wondering why a "nocd" was released for all the warhammer dawn versions v1.0-v1.4, but nothing for winter assault?
i understand newer harder protections might be used in the newer games. the same happened for rome total war with v1.2, no "nocd" was generated but now theres a expansion and it has a nocd. you would think a newer harder secrom 7 or something else would have been used for the expansion, newer and harder than for v1.2 update rome total war but the nocd exists for that. signed confused |

In many cases, if a "working" mini-image is released for a game, groups will stop releasing a "nocd" exe as they do not feel it is needed since there is a way to play it without a CD.
Also, in some cases where an expansion is made for a game, they may stop worrying about the "origional" game and work on the expansion only. But im sure there can be many other reasons why. Those are just a couple of guesses. |
