Default Games running on Vista

Hey

i was just wondering if there was any issues running games on windows Vista as i might be buying a computer with Vista on it and would like to know if many games run on the OS or should i put XP on it?

Some games have some issues on Vista. Alot do run on it, but honestly, unless you are going to be playing only the newest games from here on, I would at the very least put XP on it. Other option would be to set it up as Dual boot and put both

One thing you can try doing, is setting the "compatibility mode" the game runs in to WinXP. That works for many of the games that don't like to run under vista. All you gotta do is right-click the exe and go to properties and then the compatibility tab.

Usually fixes the problem, although doesn't work on every system.
