Default medieval 2 total war help

can some one tell if i have a fixed no cd .exe for medieval total war 1.3 do i still need to use a program like SD4Hide????? i know what a nocd .exe is but what is a fixed .exe for/do?

No, you only need programs like SD4Hide when using an emulated image. If using the fixed exe it should not require any hider programs. Fixed exe means it has been fixed, protection removed.
