Burning game files to disk
Ok so, I just need some verification on this.
If I were to attempt to burn a copy of a game from my hard drive, that included three folders CD1, CD2, and CD3 as well as a NO-CD patch/crack for transfer to another hard drive I would: Note: We'll assume that the sum of all files is too large to fit on one CD therefore use three. Using the appropriate program a.k.a. acholhol 120%, Clone CD, etc. and using the appropriate options backup CD1 to disk. (include NO-CD patch/crack folder on CD1 simply for availability) Then backup CD2 and CD3 to disk (no CD protection). Ok, now for installation, just run CD1 and its setup, complete installation and apply patches and cracks afterwards. IF all of these folders could fit on one CD AND the .exe file in CD1 wasn't part of the .setup could I replace the .exe with the cracked version or would I be limited to my previous steps because of any patching that may have to occur after installation? Also, is there any way the game can be installed to the disc rather than the hard drive (assuming disc space permits) and if so is a NO-CD crack required? |
