As a sidenote: both SH3 and 4 were developped not at the studios in Montreal, but the ones from Eastern Europe(Romania, I think).

I thought they did a pretty good job with SH3, a few things I would have liked, ai subs so you could hunt in packs, a better campaign, (go here, patrol for 24hr's) but all in all it's still a pretty good sim. But I think they've nailed it with SH4! The campaign is immersive, and the south Pacific is just damn hot! couple of little fixes and I'll be moding and playing this thing for a long time. (need a double thumbs up here) |

SH4 it's like the original SH, but vastly improved. I hate the fact that they didn't introduced a japanese campaign. Otherwise, the game is a genuine subsim. The Silent Hunter series are perfect for WW2, while I consider Sub Command the best sub sim for modern era(wish that would be more of those out there though).

I pick up Dangerous Waters by best modern sim and SH3 with GWX the best WW2 simulation.....
