F.E.A.R. Directors Edition Fear not working

Hey!

I downloaded the Director's Edition Fixed Exe, but it doesn't work for me. As soon as I click it, I get an automatic error that FEAR needs to close...and to send a report...etc etc.

Is there something else I need to do? Yes, I pasted the download in the correct FEAR file.

Some cracks are not working properly with some of the newer video. Also, there are problems with the cracks on Vista.
If you are on Vista, make sure you have the UAC disabled and you run in Admin mode. Also set the game compatibility to XP and see if the game it's working with the latest drivers from ATI or Nvidia.
If you are on Xp, just update the drivers.
Also make sure that you have the required PC specs to play the game. If you are trying to play on a laptop, you might be out of luck. The game doesn't have support for integrated videocards. If the onboard videocard has T&L and Shader 2.0, you might managed to get it working, but chances are still pretty slim.
