Yes I read the other thread and the Do not ask for a crack for these games, but I have reasonable grounds.

ArmA 2 does have SecuROM v7.x and its not just online check. v1.03 checks for a CD as well and so does v1.04 so it is impossible for us with a legit cd key (but no retail DVD) to play the game anymore.

In the sticky thread you wrote for ArmA 1 that they removed the cd check, but it's still there in ArmA 2. I don't have FADE activated in 1.03 because I HAVE a legit cd key.

online activation is only on steam, gamersgate, direct2drive versions. CD Check is there with online activation in the Retail version
