Okay, i'll ask a few things from you:

1. the way you've installed the game (like Sims2, patch, Sims2 University patch, Sims2 Nightlife, patch) and what other expansions do you have.
2. what video card and CPU do you have, and how much RAM.

Based on that we might find a solution to your problem.
