I think you will have to use the original disc until a crack comes out(if ever).
Places like Gameburworld, Megagames or Gamecopyworld aren't the place where the cracking teams are hanging out. They have their private places, unknown to the public for obvious reasons. So unless they decide to release a crack for the update, you are better using your DVD. The DOX scene is pretty much comatose, with only a few high profile games getting cracks for updates. Web Of Shadows ain't exactly one, so most likely it will take a long time until we'll see a crack(if ever).
