Hehe, when that particular cheat is turned on (F3) it might cause problems... extortion was, now that I remember it, also a problem since the baker, barber,etc all dropped death after one...

Yeah... found the cause :D

Seems I had the trainer (Mint) set on "one hit kill" so one beat equals killing the mobster. Turned it of (F12) and made him sucessfully talk :p by beating him up !

For me one beat is enough to make the mission fail... I can grab and shake him alright but a beat or a shot in the knee and "game over"...
