Help with forums

What does it mean if im subscribed to a thread and how come im subcribed to some threads and not others.

Crypton 20-11-2005 10:07 PM

Subscribed is a sorta way to watch a thread when someone posts to it.

When you make a post, you will be subscribed to that thread. So each time you post in a new thread, you are subscribed to it, if you have options in your profile enabled, the site can email you ect.. when a new post is made to that thread. Or you can unsubscribe to stop getting an email or notification on posts to that thread.

Yes, when you post a new post, or create a new thread, you will have the option (not in quick reply) to subscribe or unsubscribe, you can set the default to subscribe to the threads you posted in, or just select/unselect at your own will.

K thanx also i have one more question how come some threads are bolded and not others?

Crypton 21-11-2005 10:09 PM

means you have not read them yet, when new posts are in those threads, they become bold so you can easily see where new posts are since your last visit.
