Sims 2

In build mode I can't drag and drop any walls, foundations, floors, etc.
Only if the item can be saved in my collection folder, then I can drag and drop, although things like foundations, walls, cannot be dragged to the lot.
Therefor I can't build a house from scratch, only in the mode where houses are already made to go. Can anyone help with this.

Yes...I downloaded this from Pirate Bay torrent site. I exchanged the exe files because the original one asked for a CD, and the other doesn't. Would this have anything to do with it?

If you read the rules, you'll understand why I've closed the thread.
