Help with No CD for The Sims 2 Freetime

I have tried to use the No CD/Fixed Exe for The Sims 2 Freetime, and it doesn't seem to help. I thought it did when I first tried it, realising the CD was in the drive. Now when I try the game with the No CD/Fixed Exe, it asks for the original disk, and to retry. Can someone help? My CD is in bad condition, and I don't want to have to handle it anymore incase I need to reinstall.
