"sorry but the licence date has expired"???

Hi to you all,

Today I registered to this great Forum because I've got a little problem with getting Imperial Glory to run properly.

I thought I had done everything right (download etc etc, no cd-exe to replace the old exe-file) but when trying to run the game I was shown the message: "sorry but the licence date has expired. Contact your software supplier etc".

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or what I should do?

Also, is it safe to register to GameShadow (the program for auto-updates of the game)?

Thanks in advance/Greetz

mm, where did you get this game? Was it one you paid for and downloaded from Direct2Drive or similar site?

If so, then no, it is not safe to update it with Gameshadow. Patches would need to be downloaded from the place you got the game if they have a patch available.

You should have bought the game from a video shop....

If the liscense has expired, it sound's like the game is the trial version, the only way to continue playing is by purchasing the full retail version.
