nhl 2006 1.3 no cd patch needed

Wondering if you will have the no/cd patch for nhl06 available.. I hate using my cd for the game.

wondering if there are programs to make no cd files, or which program is best to make an image of my cd 2 to make the nhl06 work from my hard drive. any free programs out there. the help will be greatly appreciated. My disc 2 is always having problems reading in my drive should of took the damn game back when i had the chance, to late now. and yes my drive is fine, it's the cd... sometimes i get no cd in drive error.. or it searches on cd for a long time. and other times it operates fine. i have no problems with any other cd.
