DirectX problem

hi i was playing a game that just crashed down to the desktop i posted it here it
crypton said it was a DirectX problem so i found a DirectX remover and so it removes DirectX also after i rebooted my pc i used the DirectX remover rollback thing and i install DirectX 8.1 from my XP Setup disc and than i tried to install DirectX 9.0c november release but it didn't install so i install DirectX 9.0a from a game disc but now i can't install DirectX 9.0c novembe release it says setup is complete but in DirectX diag it still says DirectX 9.0a whats wrong i havent had this problem before

Download the full installer of DX and see if that solved the issue.
