Help with CSI 3!!

I am downloading CSI 3 and everytime I go to extract the files it says: "There was an error on Startup. Please re-install your game." Am I doing something wrong? The reason why I downloaded from this site is because it says you don't have to make a CD to play the game. I got it earlier from another site and the set up was terrible! Please help. Thank you!
