help sims nightlife wont work with daemon tools

i just got daemon tools 4.0 and the sims 2 give me a windows error everytime i realize that its the new version because i put the old version and it works fine. so what do i do.

Try right clicking and changing the Compatibility to Windows 98 or 2000.
