No CD crack - Neverwinter Nights 2
 
I'm probably asking something obvious or easily fixed, but this is my first time trying this. So... yeah, unfamiliar with most of the terms and programs used to set things up.

I've tried reading the Beginners Help page, but to no avail.

So basically I have NWN2 and am trying to get the No CD/Fixed EXE to work. I'm positive that my version of NWN2 and the fix I'm trying to apply are the same.

I tried reading the .nfo file that came with the crack and it said:

"~ Unpack
~ Run the updater
~ Copy the crack from the ViTALiTY folder
~ Rot in heaven "

I assume that unpack means extract using winrar. Run the updater? If it's the NWN game updater, I did that. I copied and replaced the .EXEs of the same name in the game files, but when I try running without a CD it still gives me errors. What could be wrong? Thanks if anyone can help.

A possible explanation may be that I only have the original NWN2, not any of the expansions...?

What error message do you get? Please also make sure you are using the latest patch update and the corresponding No-CD fix.
