ive downloaded a couple no cd cracks from gamecopyworld but they were dos programs. I followed instructions and ran them but they didnt no cd crack the program and when i tried to delete they had write protection like viruses. I had to uninstall game and then reboot in safe mode to delete. Are these bad cracks or am i doing somthing rong.

did you place the file in the same location as the games exe?

And, they get locked because of bad coding **tsk tsk to the coders who made em**

Basically, handles on the file are left open when the programs is closed. You can use Process Explorer by: SysInternals to close handles, but u will need to use cmd line to delete the file because if you rclick it, it will open a handle again.

Find > Find Handel

enter name of file without extension

example "crack.com" would just be crack

Then click on handels it finds, then below, right click highlighted process using it, choose close handle

No need to reboot in safe mode :)
