error loading sims 2 body shop. Plz help!

Im getting this error when trying to load the sims 2 body shop. the eror states... Direct3D returned an error: D3DERR_INVAILDCALL! The application will now terminate. Can someone please help me fix this problem. I already reinstalled the game and still the same error. please help me. Thanks in advance.

Try updating your video drivers. If you are already using the latest version, uninstall them and try an older version. That error is directly related to Video/Drivers.

you need specify who makes your video cards cause it seems on sims forums people with 3rd party vid card makers they have that problem 2.
