Problems running `Garfield'

When I try to play a copied game `Garfield', I get the error `The garfield.exe file is linked to missing export kernel32.dll' What could be the reason? I am on windows 98se and the game is supported by that platform. I have checked the c:\windows\system and the kernel32.dll file is present there and the size is right too. I even replaced the same with a fresh file yet get the same error. Coud anyone please solve the problem? TIA! Am using a no-cd patch

Sounds like something in the fixed exe is wrong, fix was probably made on a NT system and not tested on a 9x system.

Try this one and lemme know. Also, are you using v.1.0 of the game? Not sure if there was an update for this game, in which case if there was, 1.0 night now work for it.
