Bought the game, ripped the image onto one my HDDs (I HATE keeping up with CDs/DVD for games I'm into). Mounted the image with D-Tools, installed fine.

But when launching the game, it gives me an "emulation software detected" message and cuts out. So I killed D-Tools and tried mounting with %120, same thing.

Am I going to have to just go back to using the DVD (><) or is there a way around the emulation detection?

Any help would be great. ^_^

Tried the new Daemon-Tools 4?

Also be sure you enable RMPS and SecuROM emulation in DT4.

I'll try that out and post if it works. I was thinking that there should be a new D-Tools release, but haven't kept track. ^_^

It no longer gives me the error about finding an emulation drive, but I keeps telling me that I need to insert the DVD into the D: drive, which is my only physical drive. I have the mounted image in my G: drive, and I can't get the software to look for the disk anywher ebut D:

Any ideas?

shutdown pc, unplug your ide cd/dvd drive(s),, start PC, try again. IDE Jammer and vIDE are not out yet for DT4, meaning if a protection checks if any IDE CD/DVD Drives are connected to the system physically, it will automatically blacklist any SCSI Cd/DVD Drives it finds.

They are working on this, and simply disabling them using something like SFN or such programs will not always work, the drives can still be detected if they are physically connected.

Also possible that you did not make a good image, good meaning that the protection was also copied 100%. Matrix - Path of Neo im sure uses one of the newest versions of protection which all the new ones blacklist SCSI if an IDE CD/DVD drive are found.

I installed the released patch v.1 (55MB) for The Matrix: Path of Neo, but i got this erorr (emulation detected...). Is there any way to run the game correctly after installing the released patch v.1???:confused: (I use D-Tool to emulate the game DVD). Thanks before for any help.
