Help installing Multi CD game

Hey, I just got a new computer and am trying to reinstall my bought copy of SIm
City 4. I lost my cd, but backed up my old cds on my other computer in .bin
files. I transfered the bin files to my new computer, and started installing
Sim City 4. I just extracted the .bin file of the 1st cd an ran it without
burning it to a cd(to save cds). But I did burn the second cd with alchohol
120, using safedisc 2/3 with a 4x record speed. So I started the installer from
the extracted bin on my computer and it worked fine, but when it asked me for
the second cd, i inserted it and it keeps asking me for disc 2, like its not
the correct disc. Can you please help?

Can you make an image file with Alcohol 120% of CD 2 and load the image of the CD2 in the same emulator your using for CD1? Sounds more like it is looking for the CD in the same drive you used for CD1.

lol but now everytime i start it up-says "the configuration file graphic rules.srg could not be parsed. Using built in rules" then i hear the intro movies playing but its just a black screen, and also most of the muttons are blank(didnt say this with sim city 4, but after i bought rush hour(addon) and installed it and applied no cd)

never mind, i installed the latest patch and it works fine
