question about star wars battlefront II

I just got battlefront II and I have got it working with the mini image thing but, I was wondering if there is a way to get it working without having to take up 3.6GB of space?

Make your own Minidisc, Make an image using Alcohol 120%, then try MiR to turn the image into a Minidisc.
