Hi Everyone

When Sims2 first came out I came here and used your nude patch for Sims2. This was an exe file. Just click on it and it opened and installed itself. The nude patch works great by the way. My problem today is I am trying to locate it in the game to remove it, and put the game back to Maxi standards, so I can load the new Ep University. I know if I don't remove it I will not be able to install the new ep. I have searched your forum for my answer but I honestly didn't see anything referring to location for removal.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Marg

Did you make a backup of the origional exe ? If not you will need to reinstall the game as the nude patch patches bytes in the exe file (sims2.exe)

Normally patches create a backup of the exe for you (not all do) but if there is a backup check the same folder your exe is in for sims2.bak or sims2.exe.bak

You can simply extract the original exe from the compressed.zip file on the last cd or the dvd using winzip.

Thanks for your replies. I searched around for awhile and finally found the little trouble maker. It was in the TSBin. I deleted it and all my hack files too. University instal went without a hitch. A big sigh of relief there.
I kept remembering all the troubles I had with some of the eps for the original Sims Game.

Thanks Again

Marg

yes, but if he has updated the game using the latest patch, there will be a version mismatch.
