how does this work me and my friend cant seem to figure it out please help.

You can play a Private multiplayer game on the net, you both need to run the patch, then when you are done run the unpatch.

i mean how do you connect to the other person though i cant see it on the list, the nfo says direct IP, how do i do that?

You need to use his IP, you will need to get his IP, get him to run Winipcfg.exe and it will display his IP.

Myself and a mate have both run this patch neither of us can see where we enter the ip address to join a game?
