Just so you know I have come across an issue that appears to be the same for 2 games. The problem is when you apply your no cd patch , "ABSOLUTELY THE LATEST AND CORRECT VERSION BTW" The game will run with no cd "Great" and it will even let you get into multiplayer "Great" ,,,,, However the not so great thing is that while in multiplayer all the games are greyed out and it simply says game is running a different version when you try to join.
This problem is exactly the same thing for these 2 games.

Command and Conquere, Generals
and
Lord Of the Rings , Battle For Middle Earth.

They definetely match the No-CD version this is extremely important if the patch update has touched the exe file, as the server will normally check for the version.

Yeh sorry, didn't see you put you used the latest No-CD version, but what I was saying was that if the exe is touched by the patch update, then the same version No-CD must be used, which you already have done. Not sure why the screen would grey out like that, does it happen when you use the original CD?

Its not the screen greying out. You see in multiplayer on those games you join like a chat lobby. The lobby has a list of games lined up where you might expect to chat. those list of games you just double click to join them. It is just the games that are available to play that is grey when normally it would be white. When you try to join it says wrong version. However the game doesnt allow anyone to even join multiplayer when it is a lesser version so that in itself is weird. so the no cd patch just wont allow multiplayer games. but it allows you to go into multiplayer and view the games. No the game is fine when you run with the cd and take off the no cd exe.
Thx just wanted to point this out to whoever is making these things.

Yeh that is a bit odd, definetely a version error on the No-CD's part.
