Quake 4 Online

Hello! Im new here and say at first Hello! Come from Germany so my English not the best sorry! :D
Ok here i go.. Need help to play Quake 4 online..i try the server Patch..try to log in to a server,than it stand"waiting for authorization" or something.Than it happend nothing.My Computer hanging every 2-3 Seconds at thats all? Had somebody help for me? Somebody fix this?

CD Key problem, someone may be using yours?

Hmmm if i set the cd key in the Online Settings new it says "logging into a authorisation Server" (or something) than its ok and its come the Message"Dont lose your CD Key its Valid" bl bla bla.. So nobody use it if its can log in to a authorisation Server or?Dont know..ok if nobody can help i deinstall it because i had done the Game...

Don't use the Private/Public Server patch, you don't need to, it's only on a LAN you might need the Server Patch.

Wow.

Another corking fps. This game has some of the best graphics I've ever seen. It seems to run better than Doom 3 did on high settings on my pc. Its a stunner, got to love those giant red spider things.

I am noticing a trend in Spindley legged giant things in games these days.

To play online with 1.0.4 just a few steps are required:

1. Get GameSpy
2. Add 127.0.0.1 q4master.idsoftware.com to ur windows
hosts file
3. Look for MP server via GameSPy, join it via GameSpy
4. At Waiting for auth. - press 4*ALT+TAB (Not that slow frequency)
5. U get Screen "Game is loaded", "Init. Menu" etc.
6. At 2nd Waiting for Auth. - press 6*ALT+TAB
7. U successfully joined the server

Hi, i have got QUAKE 4 ISO and have burned the DVD. Enter a serial and it installs fine.

then i restart my computer but it keeps saying insert CD when the DVD is already in there.

Please assist.
