We have released a new generation of SecuROM copy protection. This new version puts you ahead of crackers and file-sharers once more. The crack protection has been raised to an unprecedented level. Optionally, a new emulator shield detects virtual drives.

Additionally, SecuROM now offers the following features:

·Protection of demos and test versions that only work for a certain period of time: "Try & Die"
·Protection of content on CD-Rs with SecureCD-R technology
·SecuROM Business Edition for non-games applications with flexible disc check.

Friend of mine has been fighting with securom 7 for months now.
Don't expect too many cracks for this one at all.

I have seen a few that have successfully backed up SR7 with Plex Prem, and other drives, I have made a working backup of Project Snowblind on my Lite-On 16x Dual Layer 1633s with the latest Firmware (latest firmware just matches more media type)
Made the backup (working) on both the latest Blindwrite and Alcohol 120% v.1.9.5 Build 2722

Burn speed for both was 2x, since I used a RW, that was the media's max RW speed, not tried higher speed or DVD+R yet. (I don't have DVD-R media though I don't think booktype can be changed on -R)

Used TDK DVD-RW changed the booktype to DVD-Rom with the booktype utility for LT drives. Burned

For Blindwrite, use auto setting, and 4x or less speed when making the backup and burn,

For Alcohol, set to customized, and select all option including RMPS set to high.

At this point however, I have not been able to get a minidisc to work, hopefully the guys at Daemon-Tools will get this part sorted. If they do, then I already have a <4MB minidisc image with 100% topo ready to go. And will be sure to add it to the site as well.

SecuRom 7 is cracked now anyway, Hoodlum and Reloaded have done it.

yep, but I prefer minidiscs as I do not have to worry about using a cracked executable, rather than backuping up, replacing old ect to patch the game, plus, the nice thing about the mindisc is not having to wait for an updated fix to continue using.
