The game is released today and i had already pre-ordered a collector's edition. Could somebody make a nocd patch for the game?

Hi all,

I just DL'ed the NOCD Mini Image and it doesn't work for me. Has anyone had any luck using this?:confused:

Just playing with quake now.

Backed it up.

Used the crack.

But it does the same as fable does, kicks me out and gives me an error report.

What error message do you get? And when does it boot you, during game play, a video, or just randomly? You may want to update your drivers.

As soon as i click on the icon it trys to start but then says "Quake 4 has encountered a problem and needs to close.. send error report? etc.

Do you think it is my nvidia drivers? It is the exact thing for fable as well.

Fortunatley I have fear to go through in the mean time.:)

Can u autodetect which drivers you need? There are a few to download?

I installed Quake 4 on my Dads computer and I had the same error, So I installed the latest Nvidia Driver which was released 20th october 2005 and bang it worked 100%

Yes outdated drivers are almost always the culprit in these situations.
