Can't delete some icons!
when I try I get a message "Can't delete the icon,
Someone is using the file, program, Close the program that's using the file".
There is no program connected!!
Is there something that I can do?

Use the same method to search the name of the open icons. Cept, dont download the remove attachment, I just made that for his need because his was an exe that was getting stuck open, you will need to delete the icons manually after closing their handles.

simple, in Process Explorer, open the Find > Find Handle

Type in the name of the icon your trying to delete, search it, when found, click on it, it will then show you in the lower windows what process has it stuck in use. Right Click on the process that is holding it hostage, and choose Close Handle

After you close all Handles on that icon, then try to delete that icon.

Do the same for all other Icons/Files/Folders you have probs with.

The ICONs where deleted.
I wanted to add, that you must edit the CMD file, changing the text to the ICONs name.

um, if you had read my message I said not to download the cmd file. In this post above: http://www.gamefileforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3243&postcount=2

I made that CMD (Batch) file specifically for his exe he was trying to delete because some exe files written in ASM will get a handle open when you simply right click on it.........

I told you to manually delete the icons files after removing their handle. No need to tell me how to use my own batch file.

All you had to do was after closing the handle on the icon(s) is right click it and choose delete?
