sims 2 no cd patch

THE SIMS 2 v1.0 [ENGLISH] *DVD RELEASE* FIXED EXE (12.7MB)
I downloaded it and when i put in TSbin and try to run it says :Please insert the correct dvd-rom select ok and restart application
what's wrong?

Think it is only a fixed EXE allowing play from a backup (burned copy)

I think.. I use a minidisc image so not sure.

That's correct Crypton, the CD Checks still exist.

hmm, ill check it out in the next few days, if its not packed I may remove the cd-checks, but if packed I will not bother with it as I would have to dig for my tools since I recently reinstalled my OS and really dont feel like going through the trouble, I mean it works fine with mini-disc. Anyways, no promises!

i really don't understand all this...can someone enlighten me?i tried the same thing as raxzor and still it shows i need to insert cd-rom....i dun have the cd as i borrow it from my friend....pls help
