Great thanks but it doesnt work tried with US & UK Patches

Do you get some sort of error message, how does it not work? I don't know if the CD Checks have been removed either, i.e. you dont need the CD to play. I didn't think this game was region specific, except for Germany.

it works with US Copy, tested it here, wife kicked my butt yet again in a race (sigh)

shes good at racing games, I give her credit in that area lol :)

Checks are removed. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game? Did you also replace your old v.1.1 exe with the origional "BEFORE" patching?

Yes Crypton did both put the original exe back first then patched it (No Go) so I then reinstalled it from scratch patched it and still (No Go) the error I get is debug or close (Error Signature in Mod Name speed2.exe) :(

Try this, I have put into a rar file, the contents of the v.1.2 patch (extracted) and the NO-CD fixed exe, as well as another rar file named SPEED2_Backup.rar which contains the origional SPEED2.exe v.1.2

simply unrar and dump into your NFSU2 main folder overwriting the old files, lemme know if it works.

Thanks again Crypton but still No Go even took off Fast Write and Antialising still nothing same error Patch v1.1 worked fine even tried both of my machines maybe it has something to do with my ATI cards just put in the new drivers as they were released today but to no luck so I will stick to the Patch v1.1 for now thanks anyway.
